Work From Home Programs – Scams or for real?

Work From Home Programs – Scams or for real?

With the current global economic climate and a fortune that looks like it will get worst before it gets better an increasing number of people are looking for ways to boost their income by joining up to work at home opportunities. The Internet for the pass 10 years has been an ideal way for money making from home on a part time basis while maintaining your lifestyle.

It seems that every week there are more and more work at home programs are becoming available and with them all claiming of massive income for little work. The legitimacy of many of these programs comes into question when looked into. However, there are many opportunities and programs that appear to be genuine.

My aim was to find out if there was a credible and legitimate make money online program.

After I shortlisted a large number of programs available and subjected each of them to a rigorous test drive.

The Findings

My results were quite predictable.
Conclusion, these programs will not make you rich in a short time. There is NO get rich program. Most of them failed to make any money at all. The ease of use and methods used varied a great deal. A number of the programs offered very little practical instruction. You had to know Internet Marketing inside out just to use them. Most common of all was the up sell after you signed up to make the program work.

What surprised me is that I managed to produce results with a few of the programs but not a profit due the on going costs. One program did stand out from all this. If you’re interested in working from home with any of the programs you will find on the Internet, you should be careful about which one’s you want to subscribe to.

When you browse the Internet you will often come across a large number of advertisements for work at home and make money online displayed on websites and search engines.

These ads make huge promises about it being easy to make large amounts of money on line for no effort. But the question that must be asked is. Is it too good to be true?

To answer this question, I tested a number programs at great cost in the “work at home”, “make money online”, “home business” markets. I tested programs prominently advertised on Google and Yahoo. As these are popular search engines with the ads reaching most online surfers.

All of the programs I tested are still currently running and are open to new members, and they are all based on one ideal, They will make you lots of money online. So they claim.

Why are such programs so abundant and popular? Because of the Internet’s popularity and reach it has made it extremely easy for people to earn anything from a few extra dollars to a million dollar living online. The cost of entry is relatively low, A large investment is not needed. But like any business some capital is needed.

You shouldn’t need to be a technical expert to use the system you choose because if the system is any good it will show you step by step how to get set up and running.

A word of caution. A number of the websites that offer work at home, make money online and home business programs have testimonials that sound inflated. In some cases you will found claims that people were immediately making $20,000 or more in a single month. You can make that sort of money but it takes time to develop that sort of skill.

I did find a very high quality program with which a steady full time income can be earned over time. This program scored top points in different areas. It was great value for money. It offered the latest methods and techniques and on going training with the all-important support. These elements made this program stand out.

Problems Identified with Most Programs

95% of programs fail for a number or reasons, such as but are not limited to:

1. Not enough information provided: Concepts and methods are presented but there was no further information of practical or instructional value. Leaving you at a lost what to do next.
2. Poor quality of information: Some programs consist of an E-book in PDF format ranging from 50 to 80 pages with large font-sizing to make the book look better than it is. The information is poor, confusing and the content normally has many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. These are very unprofessional products. The author will claim the valve is in the content not the spelling. If the product is any good it should be readable.
3. Hidden fees and huge upsells: A number of programs do not disclose that there will be further fees for the use of certain resources they offer, and many offer an “upsell” which is offering you a higher value item at the point of purchase.
4. No clear privacy or refund policy: Most of the poor quality programs do not offer a clear privacy policy or a refund policy. Look out for this.
5. Selling of your details: Your personal information should not be on sold. Look for this in the sign up box.
6. Poor customer support: The poor quality programs have support that was not very responsive or non-existent.

Conclusion

Most programs were a waste of time and money and prove next to useless. With a 95% failure rate in this field its important that you join only the highest quality programs since it is very possible to make a reasonable income online.

The one company that provided positive results only requires a small monthly fee and has a clear refund and privacy policies documented on its site. The monthly fee appears to be reasonable and legitimate costs due to the investment into the members area, the quality of information and the infrastructure needed to maintain the provided resources, as well as the provision of support.

Taking the Opportunity

“InfoWorld reports that just the US online economy alone collected $102.1 billion in 2006. This was up 24% from the previous year. That’s the data from two years ago and the current annual value is expected to be much more than that. With such an gigantic online economic machine it is no wonder that literally tens of thousands of people are self-employed with their own online home businesses and earning a respectable income. The online economy is set to grow even further as more and more people come online with broadband, and this proves that this is a great opportunity and probably the best time for people to participate in and take their share of this online income.”
